You’re not broken

You’re not un-fixable – truly.

While there might be times when it seems we fall from disaster to disaster, from mistake to mistake, from pit of despair to pit of despair.

There might be times when the light at the end of the tunnel doesn’t even exist …

And it can be tempting to think that you will never be sane, never feel loveable or worthy, that you’re not good enough, that there’s no hope.

But.

There’s always a way out, if you keep going.

With extreme gentleness, as if you were nurturing a baby lamb or helping a tiny kitten gain the strength to balance on her legs, treat yourself exactly the same way.

Patient, nourishing, encouraging, accepting, and understanding – all with one step at a time, one moment to the next.

Take your time. There is no timetable, get rid of the “I should be better by now”. Give yourself what you need.

Beneath all of the troubles and drama, you are beautiful, powerful, and worthy simply in the fact of your existence, in your presence.

Winston Churchill once said,

“If you’re going through hell, keep going”.

Be persistent.

You are loved. People care about you.

Just keep going. You will remember what it is to love those that love you, and you will begin to love life again – which is worth everything.

And it may just be that you remember so well you never fall back in such a dark place ever again.

So keep going.

Keep going.

love,

Arjuna
